Ideally need to use PP as a high chemical resistance is required but as it has to go underfloor and will be subject to a vacuum (approx 25kPa - 1/4bar) i'd like to avoid compression if at all possible.

Not looking to outlay for a heat/fusion kit for a one off job.

Any pro's had any luck with hot gluing PP? Or alternatively using uPVC?

Cheers for that @Hugh Jaleak

PE as well as PP is acceptable but same issue arises re fusing the fittings, depends on the socket fuser size as they are all too big, the trouble is location. I need to run 32mm pipe under closed sections of the floor/under cabinets so may have to weld/glue the sections in situ and there may not be enough space to get the fusion head into the floor space, heat the pipe and fitting properly and then get it out and all together before it cools too much. It may be a bit of a nightmare TBH.

I have been made aware of a hot glue approach - hot glue gun with PP specific rods- but never having used it I'm not sure of it's success on pipework that will be lightly pressurised. I don't want the risk of this leaking in the future.

Everyone else seems to want to bung in ABS and solvent weld but that's what caused the issue in the first place as the chemicals used in cleaning can cause problems with ABS.
