glueing down a wooen floor- any precautions????

what precuations are there or can I just glue the ash wood onto the concrete in a new build? :confused:

You will need to put down some king of membrane (polythene sheet) else your floor could end up warping. Most floors require some kind of foam underlay and 'float' hence there is no need to glue them to the floor.

Need more details,do you mean laminated flooring or real wood etc ?

When you say concrete do you mean floor screed ? (look like sharp sand effect)
 
its ash planks not laminate
its a new build house with concrete floor-guess you call that a screed-yeah I think that is right

The cement looks uneven and I am afraid of hollows
