Glulam Beams

Hi all

I am thinkng of putrting an extension on to my house and am considering using glulam beams to take the wieght of the new roof.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them and whether or not they are expensive???

Why is this in the garden section? You will have to be more specific in your question and expand your development plans to get any better responses. Presumably you intend for these beams to be exposed? As there is little other advantage in going a Glulam direction. They are more expensive than steel.
