Hi lads

I am after a few loft roof windows and asking for some advice on ones other than Velux which are a bit too expensive for me, I am looking at Optilight and Fakro and tyrem? seen on screwfix.

for example: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Optiligh...mageNsfwFilter&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851

I want the grey external color and I think aluminium is best? I also want it to be if possible to help stop outside noise getting in?

Thanks any help appreciated.

I'd go for Keylite myself. I going to put them in my loft. Don't do it on the cheap as if it leaks etc it not a simple fix like a normal window.

From the reviews and having a good look myself they look quite good and easy to install. Was going to get the velux as the brand is tried and tested. The keylite have a built in thermal collar too. I'd pop a post in the roofing section too to see what others think.

Fakro are good. A lot is going to depend on the fitter as to how long they will be water tight.
