No, you can't borrow my pit props; I'm using them.

FANTASTIC! What a feat of engineering for amateur tunnel diggers, can't wait for the movie :p

Sounds similar to that Albert Finney film. Loophole I think it was.

I wonder what happened to the floor sensors, did they have any? I worked on a vault many years back that now houses a very important document of the realm and that vault was plastered in vibration sensors all over the ceiling, walls and floor!

I would like to think they made their getaway on one of those train-truck things with the see-saw handles too....

Preferably with the £38M stowed in a sack labelled "SWAG"

i was refering to no-one physically hurt venus. Yes a crime is a crime, but you can still admire the planning and cunning that went into rather than the normal drug induced ****wit that blunders into a post office with a knife or gun and screws up someones life for the sake of £200.

i suppose 10 years ago you would still have sat and admired them
no wonder they get away with it

'Ang on my san... we've got us a bent copper 'ere lads! ;)

To an extent, I have to agree with Thermo. It reminds me of the Tom Hanks remake of The Ladykillers: they tunnel into a casino vault.

I can't help but admire the cunning and planning and tenacity of these obviously professional criminals.

But, it is likely that such professional criminals will have their fingers in all sorts of crime-pies. Drugs, prostitution, human trafficking, who knows? And if/when they are found, it's possible, even likely, that they will end up shooting at police/civilians.

The Mission Impossible episode getting the gold out the vault using heaters was a good one, good job that the wiring in the vault was extremely high temperature stuff though otherwise they wouldn't have been able to turn the lights on to find the gold gone ;)
