I recently acquired an old telephone bell Type 56 probably circa 1960s but it is a Type 56D ( stamped onto the base).

I see many type 56C Bells on the web but can find no information at all about this one.

Can anyone help please with infor re working voltages etc.

thanks

Drek

I am grateful for the assistance of memebrs and I am also greateful to another interested p[arty for provding the following information: -

Bell 56D - 2-5 or 5-10 volts DC (2 x 50 ohm coils) - includes Bobbin Resistance 2k ohms.
