dingbat/Damocles:
Thanks. But I 'm not limited to only RCBOs am I in this context (assuming my connection to Mother Earth is sound). Can I also use MCB (Damocles says MCB Type B) then with a suitable disconnection time? I am struggling with the generic names for these circuit breakers. I am wary of RCBO/RCD 'across the board' because a tripped cut-out could damage a computer hard-drive during a writing/saving session.
Supply tails.
What are the options to improve on the connection to Mother Earth? Is it because the two earth cables are clamped, not sweated, to the lead-sheathing? Could these two earth cables be heftier? Is lead a sound conductor?
To bond, or not to bond.
If main incoming water and/or gas pipes are all copper pipe but change to plastics pipe before leaving a property, rather than leaving them unbonded altogether, is the only alternative to cross-bond them all within their respective circuits?
