We recently fitted a Grant Combi boiler for a customer but the customer complained of random bouts of no hot water.
Every time we arrived the boiler behaved, and we phoned Grant & went through the usual fault finding. The answer must be programmer get customer to phone next time it happens we will send one of our engineers to fix it,
Customer phones Grant it is not one of our programmers not our problem was the answer, as this was supplied through the UK's biggest builders merchant & came in a Grant box this is not the right answer,
we then came across a Grant engineer who unofficially told us to order the printed circuit board this would solve the problem, This is a £2000 boiler not a micky mouse affair what customer service, we will definitely not be installing others of that make, going to stick to Vailant on the rare occasions you do get problems they send their engineer straight away and fix the problem
