i've got kitchen extension roof and upstairs room extension roof too.
the room's roof is just black rigid thing. kitchen roof looks also same but it is coverd with small stones/gravel.
when i asked why it is there, i've been told it is there to prevent sun rays from cracking the roof. The question will be why then the room roof has no gravel on it?!!
anyway i will go with the old system and keep the gravel but the the problem is some grass and plants started growing on the kitchen roof between the gravel and some mud started residing there. so i thought of changing it.
i looked in B&Q and Homebase for similar stones size, but no use. All what i've found was "decorative" gravel and its size was bigger than the current ones.
could you please advice where to find similar stone size?
