I have a gravity feed shower, located several meters below hw cylinder. Pressure is very low (even without shower head) and temp barely tepid. Mixer unit is inaccessible behind tiles. pressure and temp from adjacent hw tap is fine.

I'm assuming unit may be scaled or contain sediment. Is there a way I can clean/descale shower without removing tiles? At risk of sounding naive, can I get descaler shower head pipe?

Any advice appreciated.

Okay, no responses, so I'll rephrase?

Can I clean/descale a mixer shower without destroying my shower wall? Shower head is fine, so presumably its the mixer unit thats full of c**p
