Grease for brake drum internals

After washing the dust out, is aerosol white grease (Mannol) adequate for coating the handbrake linkage parts?

So long as any pivots and rivets are free, the grease should keep them that way.
I like to lever the shoes from the backplate and grease the three contact points on each shoe, lube where the shoes contact the wheel cylinder and the same applies to the bottom pivot.
Grind off any wear lip on the drum inside if you can, and the drum will pull off nicely next time
