My Kress (Wickes) SDS drill needed a new cable which I fixed. I cleaned inside the drill while the casing was split. I noticed some grease in there around some moving parts. I would like to replace this grease. Does anyone know what the grease is and where it is obtained?

I like to use molybdenum disulphide grease for servicing tools. eBay is the easiest place to get different greases or motor factors dealers (not halfords).

I got a small container of Makita SDS grease. It came in a sort of toothpaste tube, that when you press the top puts a bit of grease out

I believe SDS grease is to grease the bits when in the chuck.

Some Titan SDS drills, have a grease panel on the top of the drill, which I think is for the gearbox assembly
