Hi all,

We had a new kitchen installed last May and we opted to paint the walls with Dulux Timeless matt paint. I did question the kitchen company as to whether we should go for the Dulux Plus kitchen paint and was told it wasn't worth the extra money!

Now, near the oven door we have a number of grease splashes which I can't remove with regular cleaner, vinegar and hot water, etc. In fact all that has done is removed a very thin layer of paint to the point where I can see the dark shade from the plaster!

Can anyone advise if the Dulux plus kitchen paint lives up to its claim as being grease proof and washable?

Thanks
Daz.

It sounds like it might be the diy label for eggshell, you're kitchen company was wrong, i always recommend eggshell in kitchens because its scrubbable and grease deposits will clean off with ease, matt paint is totally wrong for a kitchen
