Just replaced my old green 450W Bosch jigsaw (12 years old maybe) that had just worn out, I bought the newer model this time and it lasted all of a month of light use before the trigger packed up and when I really needed it aswell.

I replaced like for like as I was happy with the old one even though its a diy'ers tool. I've got my money back and bought a Makita now.

This on top of the trouble with the PMF 180 and similar stop start problems.

I agree that the green range does look very cheap compared to the old designs. I have a green hammer drill a CSB550RE from the late 90s and the build quality is a good as any professional power tool, also have a jigsaw of the same age but i dont use that one anymore.
