I have just finished decorating a new extension and seem to have a problem with a "green dust" forming on the newly painted white skirting board!
It forms in small patches and looks awful!
Fortunately it is dry and wipes off with a dry duster. The skirting is MDF, has been primed, undercoated and finished with Dulux Trade Eggshell. The rooms are dry and there is no evidence of "mould" anywhere.
Has anyone got any ideas
a) What the "green dust" may be?
b) What may be causing it?
c) How might I stop it forming?
Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks
Paul
