Dear all. Long time lurker, but would now like to ask for some help please. Noticed a leak today, coming from the bottom of the boiler. Long story short - i looks as though the leak is coming from the metal pipe going over the pump and into the front of part no 36 on this pic (sorry if it's not clear, I took it from another post).
I am assuming it is that that is leaking?
When I isolate the water in, it stops. Turn it back on, it leaks and the pressure drops. No pressure loss when water isolated. Not sure how long it's been going on for.
I've looked all over for the part name with no joy.

Any and all help would be appreciated....

Ian

Its a common leak on this boiler. To fix it the cover needs removing, which in this case is a combustion seal, so not a DIY job.

thanks for your prompt reply gigz. What does the part do? Is it an easy swap for a Gas safe person, or will it be expensive?

Ian
