Ground level waste from Tundish (HW Cyl) - soakaway ordrain?

I'm installing a heat store on the ground floor and before I start carving up the concrete floor for the 22mm pipe from the tundish I'd like some advice please.
There is an outside drain about 3.5 metres from the cupboard where the cylinder will be sited - not a straight run but ok. It's made of porcelain and I am tempted to try drilling into it about 100mm down for the 22mm pipe to exit into. I am 99% sure though that it will crack and if the waste drain overflows I'll have waste water seeping around the ground and maybe into the wall of the house. I have heard that soak-aways are another option - is this legal? Also someone mentioned a pump on this forum.

Does anyone have any other thoughts apart from running the pipe from the cylinder at a much higher level and feeding in to waste outlet (not practical in that location)

If it has a tundish then its unvented.

That needs a qualified installer to comply with building regulations ( and also has to be notified to Building Control ).

You're right. I have the option of going vented or unvented with the cylinder. I have been advised that unvented gives the best performance but as I haven't been able to figure out the installation 100% for unvented it looks like I'll go vented and live with a local drain from the tank.
