Hi all.
I'm grouting wall tiles that are a matt finish, they are grey 600 x 300 and I'm using grey grout. In the past when I've grouted I used a squeegee type thing but I bought a grout float that wasn't expensive.
I'm finding that unless I apply extreme pressure the float doesn't take the grout off the tile. Even with the pressure it still leaves patches. So what I'm asking is, is there much difference in the quality of these floats? Would a more expensive float move the grout around better? Mine is pretty much identical to this which cost me about 4 quid.
Thanks.

It won’t remove everything especially with a textured surface, you need to keep a few damp sponges ready to clean off excess.
