Hi All

I am fitting a mixer shower so I now have two copper pipes pertruding my plasterboard. When I have tiled around them should I be using silicone or grout around them?

Im not a tiler, but if I was doing it I would seal round the pipes to the PB, tile without grouting the join, and then seal the tiles to the pipes.

Ditto to the tray, and in corners, particularly where one or more of the walls is a stud wall rather than two brickwork walls. Aka, anywhere you going to get movement.

no grout around your pipes, silicon around pipes, around shower tray and any internal corners especially stud walls
