Grouting help please

I have finished grouting my bathroom floor and in some places I have made a rubbish job( of the grouting) It's uneven slightly and I was wondering if there is anything I can use to rub it down a bit. Hope that makes sense.

Uneven? In the joints or have you got grout on the tile face?

Hi thanks for your reply. The grout is rough in some joints where I have left it too late and it's dried so i'm looking to smooth it down a bit.

Any large bits can be chiselled down - use an old wood chisel.

Thanks gcol I was thinking more on the lines of sanding the grout down a bit but not sure if that would work.

Do the bulk of any removal with a chisel. You can blend in any tooling marks using sandpaper. It'd be slow going just using sandpaper alone.
