Grouting width for wall tiles?

I have some 13 inch x 9 inch wall tiles. Not the largest tles you can get nowadays, but larger than the old style 6 inch square tiles I am used to.
What is the recommended grouting width for tiles such as these? I have started laying a few tiles using 2mm plastic crosses, but maybe I should have gone for a wider grout line? Does a wider grout line give me more room to get tiles level with each other?

Thanks
Mike

Wider spacers do make alignment a little easier , would use 3-4mm spacers on your size tiles.

Larger tiles require a flatter substrate. As mentioned, a large grout gap will help hide irregularities. Personally I'd use 2 or 3mm spacers - remember that when grouted, the gaps will look wider anyway.
