I'm looking for a what is called a guard control system, whereby one of my staff members at the end of the day walks around my business tapping on a sensor located at various points in the building to ensure that certain tasks have been competed eg windows closed, aircon/heaters have been switched off, doors locked, various switches turned off etc.

I know I can google it but I wanted to see if anyone had any personal recommendations for something they have used or come across. Would be better we they can use their smart phone to tap on to the RFID tag stuck on the wall rather than some batton type device so that as owner I can get a notification of the process being competed.

Any personal suggestions?

Not done any, but there are plenty of options gps and nfc tags.

I guess if I was looking at this for a customer, I would want to know the route, and how the tags report back, and how many stations I would need as a starting point.

The whole point of the tag is you know the patrol made it to the check in point.

But do you need a guard to tell you a window/door is open or closed. As for devices turned off could they not be done by Smart Control devices. For example. I have customers using automation, which turns things on/off without the need to be at the physical location.
