Any bright sparks in this evening? (Veritas 8 IP Connection Possible?)

Have been searching all day for something I can connect to a vanilla alarm panel that can send a notification to a mobile device.

I know I could use a GSM dialler of some description that taps into the -ve of the bell wire that can send a text, however, I was hoping for something that doesn't require a SIM card.

For example, something like this can detect an open or closed circuit and send a notification via the Tuya or Smartlife app. Are there any terminals I can connect one of these to that are either open or closed whilst the bell is ringing/alarming?

I'm wondering if adding a simple 12v relay and connecting one side to terminals A & B of the bell output (Permanent +ve & Switched -ve) I could then use the other side to interface with the TuyaSmart device? Any thoughts'd be helpful.

you have solved it yourself …small relay ..eg paxton relay
