Can anyone point me towards a reasonable and cheap 8ft guide rail for sawing/routing? Doesn't need any special features just work properly as a guide..

How about finding a piece of aluminium profile from somewhere (Baco Aluminium Centres) or possibly a plaster's feather edge or Darby? I know those are 6ft lengths, but I have seen longer itens in use of around 2200mm

Good shout thanks, got a 2500mm alu feather edge for around £24 del'd.
