got a slight issue and need a solution/opinions

I have a porch canopy over the front door, there is around a 55mm gap from the wall and the gallow bracket.

currently there is a 68mm downpipe running from the top, the plan is to add a 68mm to 50mm reducer to the downpipe and conceal the rest of the down pipe in the gap between the gallow bracket and wall.

i have attached a picture, hopefully that will help understand what is going on.

unfortunately i was unable to install the canopy to leave a sufficient gap for a 68mm downpipe as it would have thrown off the symmetry too much.

i am concerned that if i use the 68mm to 50mm reducer that it might block in the future, but there are not any trees nearby so i think it shouldnt be an issue. also might install hedgehog gutter spikes to minimalize risk.

would appreciate your opinions.

Offset the downspout onto the roof and follow that down?
