Hi, I am building an extention whose monopitch 14 degree roof will run parallel to the existing 26 degree roof. The new roof will be about 50 m2 and the existing 90 m2. Can i direct all the water from the existing roof to the new roof and catch it in the gutter of the new roof or will it be too much water? I prefer to do this as it makes linking to a drain much easier. Thanks for any advice.

Size of gutter plus amount of downpipes/outlets is the determining factor.

So yes it is possible so long as it is practical.

ok thanks, I can up the size of the gutter and downpipe on the new roof so that should work then, excellent and thanks again
