Hi chaps, just changed another wretched ceiling light and the housing has come out of the ceiling, can anyone suggest a suitable method for snuggly fitting it back? What kind of material can I use to wrap around the black housing to get a tight fit? Is it worth trying to free the whole thing and trying to get the springs in the ceiling to reset?
Thanks
Mark

To be fair Mark, its usually the spring pressure bearing on the ceiling upper surface that normally keeps these things in place - the hole can be considerably bigger than recommended so long as the embellisher ring is covered.
Are they dropping back through, or something?
John :)
