Halstead Finest Gold water leak

I hve noticed a small amount of water dripping from the boiler casing and on further investigation found that the leak is from the auto air vent tube which vents out the side.
Would this suggest the vent is faultly or something else is the cause.
The pressure has dropped on the guage due to loss of water I guess.
