Halstead Gold - switching hot water on and off

Hi, I have a Halstead Gold combi boiler and recently it has started cycling when you have a hot water tap on (mainly when the shower is running), so the burner cuts in and out making the water bloody hot or bloody cold.

Any help - apprecaited.

Blocked secondary heat exchanger. Dead common problem. Lots of posts covering it here, try a search.

Oh well guess it will have to wait until I have the time to remove the damn thing, any suggestions for good ways of clearing it out?

hi i had a good tip the other day from a boiler manufacturer whilst on a course if you have wilkinson in your area get some of there decking /patio cleaner about £3 a gallon works in about 10 mins just fill it up and leave it to do the job
