hammering from the boiler

when demanding domestic hot water from a worcester 24i II theres such a loud hammering noise / shaking motion coming from the boiler,any ideas...would be grateful
 
How old is the boiler? Has the noise just started or has it been getting worse over time? Possibly the domesting hot water plate heat exchanger is scaled up resticting the flow of water.
 
The boiler is about 3yrs old and the loud hammering started about 3 months ago and is getting more frequent
 
Remove and clean the plate to plate heat ex.

Poor install? Was the system DS40'd?
