Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good quality compact wash basin?

I move home on Thursday and the first task is to install one.

The toilet is separated from the bathroom and does not have a wash basin.

The attached image shows my best option looks like placing the basin opposite the toilet roll holder. Supply and waste is also easier that side.

Need to have easy access and heading towards retirement age!

Thanks for any advice.
Gerry

You can get slimline wall mounted WHB's around 250-300mm deep (projection from wall). Price/quality is up to you - around £30 upwards from the online bathroom places plus tap. If that size sticks out too far you can look a bit harder and find really thin ones. Otherwise what's on the wall opposite the WC? a corner sink is a good use of space.

Consider a basin with rounded corners, less hurtful if accidentally brushed into :cautious:.

RAK ceramics do some decent cloakroom sized basins.search 'RAK compact cloakroom basin 450mm wide 1 tap hole'

Their 1 tap hole basin has a nice square area to sit a small soap dispenser, you will also need a tap no need for a full size tap something minimalist will do the job.

Thanks for all your replies.

The rounded corner is a good idea.

Plenty of options online. Happy to pay for best quality.

Any made in UK?
