Hi all,

I'm planning on installing a 120cm tall towel rad in a bathroom. It's going on a tiled plasterboard partition wall. I don't want to have to rip the tiles then wall down to put some wooden batons in - will drywall rawplugs be able to support the weight? I've a friend who's done it this way and said it was absolutely rigid, especially as nothing heavier than a towel will be added, but I'm a bit sceptical. Can you advise? Thanks

I would not advise it for tenants ! But if you are going to be careful with it and dont have kids who will climb up it like a ladder then its possible.

Use the opening toggles and it should be an adequate fixing for light domestic use.

If you are lucky to find a studding in the right position then thats really lucky !
