Afternoon all,

I'm going to fit my mother a kitchen and the one thing thats concerning me is the above.

I know theres many a plasterboard fitted on the market but what do you suggest the best way to hang them is and best fittings?

Many thanks

Plasterboard alone will not hold heavy wall cupboards, what type of construction is the wall? If stud work has been used then you need to span the stud with ply [after removing a strip of plasterboard] too support the upper cup'ds. Standard plasterboard plugs of any variety will be ok for floor standing units.

You can get rails for fixing kitchen cabinets to. Fix them to your stud partitions and hang your cabinets on them. It'll involve cutting a check out your middle cabinets.

Or cut out a section of the plasterboard and replace it with something strong - like plywood, and fix your cab's to that.
