Hanging Wood cladding panels on external wall

I had some leftover fence boards and decided to build these which I am planning to paint and hang on an ugly bare masonry wall outside. They’re heavy enough at about 14lbs each. I was just wondering if anybody had any recommendations of how to fix or hang them as I don’t have a clue and what fixings you would suggest? I’ve also attached the image that gave me the idea which you can see is fixed to the wall.
