I have just bought another Belling cooker. My old one was Belling 661 and this is 665. Can I just wire it up to the socket at the back of the cooker. Red to red, black to black and yellow/green to yellow/green.
The wires from the wall go into the same connections as the ones the cooker wires go into. Is this right or should they have a separate connection. Do all cookers come already wired with cable or do you usually provide your own?

It is being delivered this afternoon so I haven't seen the instructions yet. I was intending to install it myself as it is basically the same cooker as I have taken out.

You may find that the instructions state heat resistant flex should be used, in maybe 4sq mm or even bigger flex. Many sparks just use twin and earth as sounds the case from your existing cooker. I'm not sure whether this is a big issue as I cant see the outer shell of an oven should get too hot, given that it designed to be surrounded by a wooden housing unit, but not following the M.I is against wiring regs and would invalidate the warranty.
