..water problems.

Solution?

Seems t'internet is full of lots of so-called solutions to hard water problems. I don't know anything about them.

Anyone know of one that:

A: works!
B: can be fitted on incoming mains
C: less than, say, £200
D: is low/zero maintenance
E: low cost to run (few pence/pounds a month)

Does such a magical device even exist and meet the above criteria?

Cheers in advance.

Either a salt softener like Harveys (worth the premium) or something phosphate based like the combimate.

All this magnet and rf based stuff is boolocx.
