The guy was arrested by armed police, and she clarified the point as to why they were armed.

The police only carry out their duties. You maybe need to look further up the chain.

The police are losing the confidence of the public I am a law abiding citizen and do my best to abide by the law. When the police get involved in things with their cocky attitudes and heavy handed tactics it all goes wrong. I have never had anything but admiration for them but the past few years I have had skirmish’s with them and been involved in drunken brawls where they have completely gone way over the top and got the wrong ending the stick which has resulted in me attending court when I really should not have been. No respect for them.
