I have a Byron mechanical chime with push button at front of door. When I looked into the Ring doorbell last year, I concluded that I would need to re-wire or need to use their battery charged door bell. Neither was ideal.
Skybell doesn’t seem to have the same limitations and will work with my current config. Can someone please confirm.
Additionaly, it meantions a battery in the push button whilst talking about the bell two-wires providing charge. Can someone please clarify the dependency on the batter please.
