A few years back I was lying on a hospital trolly unable to move, see or speak, it was if i was dead. I could hear a voice say he is to far gone but we could try an experimental drug that might save him but it may leave him in a wheel chair or worse, and we will need your consent. How can they put your life in someone elses hands. I was if fear she would say no and there was nothing i could do.
If your refering to the guy that has locked in syndrome i would agree that if he consents via his computer that he want wants to die then surely that should be sufficent but then on the other hand if i was a doctor im still not sure i could give him that jab after all if im a doctor then im a doctor that has signed up to save live lifes![]()
