has this ever happened to you

A few years back I was lying on a hospital trolly unable to move, see or speak, it was if i was dead. I could hear a voice say he is to far gone but we could try an experimental drug that might save him but it may leave him in a wheel chair or worse, and we will need your consent. How can they put your life in someone elses hands. I was if fear she would say no and there was nothing i could do.

Sounds like a dream. That would be terrifiying!! I think that hospitals should do what ever it takes to save a life - if all other options have been spent and there is nothing else then yeah they should use experimental drugs and procedures that could save your life. Surely it is best to use a drug that may or may not work then to just let the person die right?

But if one of the outcomes was "wheel chair or worse" I wouldn't be too sure.

I think you need to share this episode with us, Mr. M.
What the hell happened?
John :)

to cut a long story short i kept going to my GP saying i was very ill and was told i was trying it on to get signed off, not that would do me any good being self employed. next thing i am rushed of to AE with a sever hart attack. GP has said they are very sorry it was there fault. The outcome is i will never be fit to work again, I potter in my workshop for a hour then have to rest sitting at this computer to get my breath back.
Then you get morons on here saying all blue badge holders are on the fiddle if they can walk around a shop.
after having a heart op i have breathing problems a leg that will not work properly, also i now have a mental health problem that is being controlled by drugs. then to add to it getting wound up by the likes of jo-90 dose not help. what is wrong with people like him. I come on here to help people and the forum owners let that p###k get away with murder. I have seen lots of people leave because of the likes of him. ok i get a bit off with people some times but that is after someone has had a go at me, but the mods soon jump on me.

If you can walk around the shop you can walk across the car park. Stop whining.
