I was reading a report about flooding where it said "National Grid isolated power to 400 properties in around the area for safety reasons, but the electricity has since been restored." It seems strange that so many homes are flooded, and if I lost power because some other house was flooded, I would not be happy. My supply is at least 6 foot above the lower ground level, and the consumer unit may be a little lower, but to cover it would need 5 foot of water, and after that point the RCBO's would trip, so what does the team think?
