Power to sockets problem

kevin, are you saying the switch will physically not move up?

I have 2 hager boards with RCDs and find I have to push very hard to move the rocker up on them - the MCBs are dead easy in comparison.

The trip arm will not push up, if you say they are very stiff then I will go back and have another final look at it, it does feel like it is in the down possition with some kind of lock on it, is that possible?. I did not think I had to push them very hard but I will try again. Thanks for the advise.

Thank you Steve,
Your advise was right, it was just a lot harder to push up then the other trips. Everything seems to be working fine now (Touch wood)
Thank you everyone for replys

I think its because the RCDs are double pole. Certainly the RCBOs arent as hard to push, they are only single pole.
