The unit makes a buzzing sound and will not stay on, when the on/off button is pressed. Bussing seems to come from the relay on the small pcb inside the unit.
When we bang the side of the unit while pressing the on switch, it will then stay on. But pressing the on / off switch dose not turn it off. Is this switch a micro switch like the heat one below it which clicks on and then push to click off.
Or is it a contact type which activates the relay. If this type i suspect the relay is duff.
