hoover dryer

Hi i have a hoover dryer HDV6 the filter light is staying on even though i have cleaned the filter an there is no hot air going through it when it is switched on so my clothes aren't getting dried. Has anybody got any idea what could be wrong with it.

Hi There.
The filter care light staying on means that the thermal cut out on the element has gone. They cannot be replaced as a seperate part.(no suprise there then.) You need to buy a new heater unit complete with cut outs.
