Header tank ballcock replaced but no hot water/pressure

Sometimes these airlocks can be ridiculously awkward to clear......you may have to introduce mains cold - via a hosepipe- into the bathroom hot taps, but hopefully you'll get there anyway!
Be lucky

Update: I managed to get cold water up to the bathroom basin, bath and shower, hot 'taps'. I then managed to get it up to the header tank as water reached the overflow pipe that 'cut in'. Pressure has improved in the bathroom although the bath pressure appears to be very low. Not sure what it was like before though so it's difficult to tell if it has deteriorated or not.
Will monitor from afar.
Many thanks to Andy and John for their excellent advise....it's what make the internet worthwhile!!

If the pressure / volume seems ok at the wash basin tap in the bathroom, maybe the bath tap has a flexible hose connector....notorious for slowing things down!
Well done for persevering!
John :)
