Heat Exchanger Tappings, any suggestions??

Either buy a new plate with threaded fittings

or buy powerflushing pump adapter plates (plastic blocks that screw on with threaded fittings)
or have some blocks machined up

I think it would be cheaper to buy a plate HE with the threaded connections that buying Keith's adapter!

I bought one of them and a pump adapter but they were stolen while inside a vehicle which was stolen.

They use "flat" washers that compress on the surface. These are combi plates that screw onto a a combi hydroblock, specially made for the combi.

Risking being torn to shreds as a DIYer with a dangerously small amount of knowledge, you might consider a swimming pool heat exchanger. I've just finished putting one of the small Bowman ones in my hydrotherapy treadmill supply tank (with some help, gratefully received, regarding controls from the diynot members). The exchanger accepts standard plumbing fittings on the side outlets and standard plastic swimming pool pipework on the ends. Might be easier and more durable then adapting what you have.
