I need to fix a steel smoke hood to my brick fireplace. It has holes to screw into the inside top of the fireplace opening.

Occurs to me that as it gets very hot then plastic rawlplugs are going to melt!

Any ideas - I can't find fireproof plugs as something that exists!

Thanks guys, well, you live and learn; I didn't know there was such a thing as concrete screws! I wonder if they would expand with the heat and crack the bricks?

You are right SFK, I am making an assumption that the plugs might melt, maybe I am overthinking this.
