Hi,

I recently tried to install a new Hive thermostat which didn’t seem to work control the heating, boiler would only stay on. So replaced the old thermostat with the exact same wiring as previously and I have the same issue where heating is always on.

Only way I can turn it off is to place the boiler into summer mode which turns off the central heating.

thermostat is a Honeywell Home T3H700RF0096 and the boiler is a BLUEHELIX TECH RRT 24 C I believe.

anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I’ve put the original thermostat back on now but theirs a constant call of heating. I’m not sure it’s an issue with the thermostat and possibly something with the boiler? My shower also cuts out and makes a rattling noise now when the hot water is running.

Well remove the wire in either A or B insulate then switch the boiler on , if the heating comes on it is at the boiler end, if it doesnt it is at the programmer end

faulty frost stat maybe ? Boiler assumes there will be no frost in summer so ignores the frost stat when in summer mode.
