heating comes on when hot water is switched on

I recently had the motorisd valve fixed.

Now when I turn on the hot water to heat up, the heating also comes on.
Even if I turn the thermostat to 0..

Any advice please?
 
It sounds as if the valve is wrongly connected or wired.

Call him back!

Didn't he even test it?

yeh he did and the heating came on as my first problem was that the heating wasn't working at all. It's just odd that the thermostat doesn't control it.
