New ASHP installation. Everything is running fine, except for a high pitch (1.3khz) whine emanating from the expansion vessel. The noise cannot be heard from any other source (pipes, pump, rads, HP etc). You can clearly hear the whine if you get close to the expansion vessel.
Although not loud, it does penetrate the airing cupboard into the bedroom. Even attempts to soundproof around the vessel with studio grade soundproofing has little effect.
The installers are stumped, so throwing it out on the forum for ideas?
